<p>FindTape FELT-08 Polyester Felt Tape is a 3mm thick synthetic needle punched felt with adhesive backing. One side is soft polyester felt and the other side has a synthetic rubber adhesive with a paper release liner, so it sticks to most clean, dry surfaces.</p> <p>Commonly used for joining and repairing fabric, curtains, and cloth drapes in backdrops. Hides seams in photography and applies clean, dark edges to platforms, flats, and portals. Also works well as padding, gasket material, wiper material, and lining for display and jewelry cases, and for creating matte borders on stage and exhibit pieces.</p> <ul> <li>3mm thick non-woven polyester felt with synthetic rubber adhesive</li> <li>Adhesion of 130 ounces per inch to a stainless steel test panel</li> <li>Operating temperature range of -30°F to 150°F</li> <li>Wound on a 3" diameter core with paper release liner</li> <li>Manufactured in the United States</li> </ul><b>Application Instructions</b><br><p>Many adhesive felt rolls include an approximately 2 to 4 inch leader of double-sided film tape applied to the release liner before the felt material starts.</p> <ol> <li>To start the roll, cut a small piece of felt off at the beginning with scissors, or peel the double-sided film tape off of the release liner and use that as a way to begin applying the felt (try not to pull the double-sided film tape off of the felt backing).</li> <li>It is sometimes easier to peel the corner of the felt away from the release liner rather than peeling the release liner away from the felt, since the liner can split when pulled the other way.</li> <li>Apply at 60°F or warmer for proper bonding.</li> <li>Press the felt firmly along its full length onto a clean, dry surface that is free of dust, oil, and loose particles.</li> </ol>
